The first thing we did was assess several options on how to increase the usable kitchen space. We opted to remove the unnecessary peninsula to give the kitchen a better flow and add additional counter space to enhance the cooking experience. We completely removed the curtains in favor of sleek shades and revamped the entire area with a bright and inviting white that also serves to reflect the sunlight from the small window, making the kitchen look more spacious and pleasant. We also introduced a gorgeous white brick backsplash to further modernize the entire space with an air of pazazz. Finally, we replaced the aging white tiles with modern and versatile gray ones, creating an ideal contrast to the white of the cabinets, countertops, and backsplash.
