The idea behind this guest bathroom project was to blend simplicity and intricacy, rustic and modern. The gray color palette remains interesting through a combination of intricate ornamental marble tiling and the introduction of contemporary elements in the form of round LED-lit vanities. The wicker laundry baskets underneath the vanity contrasts the overall cooler tone of the bathroom, introducing a splash of needed color. It’s also worth noting the stark contrast between the lights and towel holders and the minimalistic nature of the shower itself. It was through this blend of contrasting elements that we managed to create a slightly eclectic bathroom that remains extensively modern, but also warm and inviting.
